WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF VINTAGE-INSPIRED WOMEN’S BOTTOMS? Well, that depends on what era of fashion you feel like channeling today:
40’s Era Women’s Bottoms: Classic a-line skirts, often with button-up detailing and stylish belts at the high-rise waist are a timeless staple of 1940s women’s fashion. High-rise pleated pants, thigh-length shorts, high-rise bikini bottoms, and ruched bikini bottoms also encompass women’s bottoms during this iconic era.
50’s Era Women’s Bottoms: Rockabilly style began influencing fashion in the 1950s, and this is the era when swing skirts and fit-and-flare skirts first made their debut! And don’t forget the prints! Polka-dot skirts, plaid skirts, and deep emerald green skirts have been stealing hearts ever since. Cropped skinny pants and high-waisted cigarette pants were gaining popularity.

70’s Era Women’s Bottoms: Flowy maxi skirts and kaftan dresses with bold geometric prints can be traced back to the 1970s fashion era. Bell bottoms, corduroy pants, corduroy skirts, wide-leg jeans, jean shorts, and sassy jumpsuits filled the disco dance floors. Pinafore dresses made a comeback in the 70s, boho dresses first hit the scene, and the disco era also made way for sequin pants and velvet pants and skirts.
