\n I read the reviews that said this dress was thinner and more wrinkly than pictured, but I couldn't imagine that it would be. I mean...the picture. it looks fine, right? Well, pictures lie, you guys. If they can edit the wrinkles off Terri Hatcher, they can edit the wrinkles off this dress--and it would seem they have. Also, it looks longer-waisted, and the sash looks much sturdier, in the picture than it is for real. \n\nThe two Modcloth dresses I've purchased both ended up in the "some assembly required" category. Luckily, I'm a seamstress, but I typically use those skills to hone the fit and the hang on a $5 dress, not a $50 one. So, it's a little disappointing. \n\nI know cotton/lycra exists, that is sturdy and practically wrinkle-free. I used to get office-y, college-y clothes at places like Lerner in the mall, that were made out of this great stiff stuff. \n\nYou make this dress look like it's cut from that stuff, and it a'int. A valid, and recurring complaint.\n\nObviously, the color and collar and buttons of this dress are great, but I'm going to have to install full lining and starch and iron it like a spinster before it will look like its picture. Please, Modcloth, try harder next time so I don't have to.\n

\n Pros: This dress is very cute! The color really pops and it's great for layering. It was also a relief to find a size S dress that still fit my bust without very noticeable puckering at the buttons.\r\n\r\nCons: The sleeves are too small and press down on my shoulders if I move my arms at all. Not enough to look ridiculous, but it does make my arms look fatter. I don't know if the plus size version is made differently, but there's no way you can roll the sleeves like that on the regular size. The sewing quality looks like my $10 dresses and mine came with lots of loose threads, which I don't expect coming from that price tag. The collar is so wide that it bunches up under blazers/jackets. Also, if you're short like me the dress will be a bit long. Mine goes past my knees which makes me look even shorter, but at least it's an easy fix.\r\n\r\nOverall, there are a lot a little annoying things about it, but I love the design and layering possibilities so much that I'll roll with it.\n

\n This dress is stunning and I am so in love with it I'd like to sleep in it! I bought it as soon as I saw it in the new arrivals section, and I'm SO glad I did because it sold it shortly afterwards! It gives you a small waist and accentuates the bust, and the skirt is really flouncy. The colour is the same as in the picture. I bought a small and it fits like a glove, although if my boobs grew any bigger it might pop a few buttons! For reference I'm 5'4", 116 pounds and a C cup. I was a little worried that the colour might make me look washed out because I have a pale complexion with dark brown hair, but it works perfectly. This is a classic feminine dress. \n

\n What a cute little number! Not to mention the colour is absolutely stunning - great with olive complexion and dark brown hair! I've been searching high and low for a golden/yellow dress for spring and summer, and this was *exactly* what I was looking for! I'm a size 16/18 (46-37-47) and the 3X fit perfectly. Looks great on an hourglass figure! Being a rather busty gal (DD), reading some of the other reviews got me a little worried that the bust would be too snug, but I could haven't asked for a better fit! Also, the length is great - I'm 5'9 and it hits at the knee. The only thing I\u2019m somewhat frustrated with is the material \u2013 I know this will be a real pain to keep from wrinkling. Perhaps in the future a blend of cotton with polyester may be the answer. This was my very first purchase from ModCloth, and I'm very pleased. Here\u2019s to hoping ModCloth will start carrying more plus sizes in other styles! \n

\n What a lovely dress for summer! I was a bit hesitant at first to purchase this dress, mostly because of the color--I'm a truly remarkable shade of pale, so I was afraid it would wash me out. However, as other reviews have stated, the goldenrod shade is actually quite flattering, and will certainly catch eyes. The dress was a perfect length for me, just hitting the knees, and the circle skirt is delightful--exceptionally suited for twirling and related girlish acts of whimsy. The bodice area was a tad large on me even in a small and with the belt tied snugly, but I'm abnormally thin and have come to expect this from most dresses. It would be well-suited to someone of normal size, I imagine. My only footnotes for this easy, breezy, sockhop-ready dress would be to iron it before wearing, as the cotton blend material wrinkles easily, and to consider a slip beneath the skirt if modesty is a concern.\n

\n \nThis dress is VERY CUTE; I am 5\u20195\u201d, 132 lbs, 36B, with a 27 inch waist. I ordered a size \u201cM\u201d because I was on a diet when I ordered it and needed at least a 30 inch waist, it fit when it came in and it still looks perfect with a 27\u201d waist. It is a light weight fabric with a slight stretch to it and is intended for warmer weather wearing, as the short sleeves should indicate. I live in So Cal and can wear this dress at almost any time of the year. I like it so much that I ordered it in black too.\n\n

\n I'm 6' tall and a 36-B, and I ordered a Large -- this dress, while lovely and I won't be returning it, did present a few surprises. It hit me above the kneecap so the length is a bit odd. The material is light and seems to beg for something to be worn underneath; a tank top and leggings or a slip or something.\nThe sleeves are a bizarre cap sleeve that display odd slivers of skin -- like the top of the ribcage and the fleshy area between your armpit and bra strap. I'll be wearing this with a thin, long-sleeved shirt underneath or a pretty cardigan or sweater over it. The buttons pull a bit, which is a rare concern for me.\n\nTo end on a positive note, I am in love with the way it showcases my waist. Very smart looking.\n

\n This dress is beautiful, received compliments all night long when I first wore it!\nIt gives an excellent curvy figure - I'm a 34DD and often have trouble with dresses fitting up top, and then being too big below. I bought a large, and it fits great on the bust, and the waist cinches in perfectly with a stronger belt. (belt loops are large enough to mix and match a variety of belts, yay!)\nThe colour is amazing - I rarely stray from black, and was worried that it would wash me out as I'm quite pale, but it looks great and really pops with some red lipstick! \n\n

\n I have been pining for this dress since I first discovered ModCloth, and it's the first thing I've ever bought. So far I'm quite happy with it, and I only have a few small issues with it.\r\n\r\nIt's the perfect length, just above my knees, so I can wear it to school. The color is great, although a bit mustardier than I had pictured initially. The fabric is stiff enough that it will stay looking sharp but light enough that I should be able to wear it comfortably through summer. The skirt falls perfectly and looks adorable.\r\n\r\nThere are two tiny things that bother me. The first is that it pulls ever-so-slightly across my rather diminutive bust. The other is the sleeves: I know that these are designed to be cap sleeves, but I feel like a slightly longer sleeve might have been more flattering.\r\n\r\nAll in all, this is quite an adorable dress!\n

Je p\u00c3\u00a8se 52 kg et mesure 1,63m, la taille S est presque grande pour moi mais se porte tr\u00c3\u00a8s bien avec un wonderbra - je fais un petit 85A.\nAu niveau des hanches, pas de soucis, elle est plus \u00c3\u00a9vas\u00c3\u00a9e qu'il n'y para\u00c3\u00aet.\nTout le monde m'a fait des compliments, je suis ravie du produit et du service!\n\n
