\n I am so in love with this dress! I am normally a size 6 in dresses, ordered a small and the fit is great. I love the little belt in the middle and the natural waist, the dress has a really cute vintage look. The pockets are great and useful without being too bulky and adding weight to the skirt. The straps are adjustable so if the bust is too loose you can tighten it up a lot. The only thing is, I don't think it would work for a smaller busted girl because I am a 34D and had to tighten the straps all the way - it might be too loose if you have a smaller chest. Also it is definitely pretty low cut for my style, I will probably wear a cardigan with it to make sure the girls stay under cover ;) all in all though I love the dress.\n

\n I just received this dress in the mail today, and I am absolutely in love! I was skeptical before purchasing because it was my first time buying a plus size item from ModCloth. But after reading all the helpful reviews I decided to buy it. Totally don't regret it! The dress is a perfect length-especially for me, (I'm a bit self conscious of my legs). I felt the bodice was very flattering too. I'm a larger bust lady & I thought it had great support, and had a "slimming" effect along the waist. \n

\n This product is very cutesy, which obviously is not a problem for anyone who would buy a dress with cocktails all over it. However, the pockets really stick out, making it even cutesy-er. I'm torn on whether to return this one. In person, it looks exactly how it does online. However, the buttons are large and far apart and don't really hold the dress together in any sturdy way. The material feels and looks rather cheap, which is unfortunate because it's already a kitschy dress. The bust runs quite large and even my 32DD's felt unsupported in the extra small with the straps tightened all the way. The good thing about this dress is that it is pretty flattering. The waist falls at a really nice place-- not too high like a lot of modcloth dresses. It does poof out quite a bit underneath the waist, but not in a way that makes you look pregnant. The poofiness does make the dress look sloppy, though. Overall, I would say that the ideal fit for this dress in size XS would be someone with a 34D and a 26 inch waist. Like I said- not sure if this one is worth keeping.\n

\n I am in love with this dress. Seriously, it is simply the most fun thing to wear and comfortable, too. The fabric speaks for itself and the cut is great on my busty figure. The pockets are roomy and don't add width, the straps are adjustable, and the length is right above my knees (5'5".) My only complaints are the sizing is odd and the sewing is terribly slipshod. While I sized up due to Modcloths details, the front of the bodice was loose even with the straps fully shortened but the chest buttons still gaped. I ended up stitching the front closed to keep my bra hidden and while I had the dress inside out I noticed that the waist seam was wonky on the skirt side with all the gathers. It looked like the seam had been gone over like three or four times in some places but the pieces of fabric still weren't attached properly. It was easy enough to fix myself since I had my sewing stuff out but that shouldn't have been necessary for such a relatively pricy item. I've been more than repaid in compliments though, so the money and time spent were worth it! Everyone from boys in my daughter's preschool to usually snobby octogenarian neighbors have given this the thumb's up.\n

\n The fit is larger than what I expected from the measurements. Admittedly I am quite flat chested, an A cup and I bought the xs. I am 5'6 and have a long torso so I tried playing with the strap to balance the length of the dress, as reviewers have said it is low cut in the bust area, very low cut. For me the top was way too big, it flopped all around, even with a push up bra, however don;t be deterred, if you are small on the top you can adjust the straps but if you do be prepared to show a more leg at the bottom. The bottom of the dress does flare out, almost like a bell because of the shirring at the waist. The pockets do add a lot of character and definition to the skirt and how it sits in general. Look at the end of the day it is definately one of a kind, the material is of great detail and quality, I am quite fond of the unique print. If I were to recommend it to another modcloth fan. The proportions it would fit would be for a lady that has a generous bust with a smaller waist, Perfect for the hourglass figure I would say. One more thing maybe consider using a hidden button or two in between the exisiting ones for a more discreet look. \n

\n I sized down from a M to S and its fits perfectly. A little tight at the waist but the buttons dont gap on me. I did have to shorten the straps as far as they go which seems to make the bust fit me perfectly maybe a little on the loose side, but not un-wearable. A little low cut but I think you can tell that from the way it sits on the mannequin. The belt is incredibly small (I can just do it up), but the dress looks weird without some kind of belt so I will either use this one or another. I really really love it. I think the cuteness factor of the pattern and the cut make up for the other minor stuff. Once I give it a good iron it will be perfect\n

\n 'm torn about this dress. The bust area really is quite large. Even with the straps tightened all the way, the fabric around my chest was still loose. I would advise against sizing down as the other buttons on the top tend to pucker open. Particularly - between the button at the bottom of the top of the dress and the button at the top of the skirt of the dress - it doesn't really hold together. It was like both parts of the dress were fighting with each other. I wish the buttons were more of a decoration instead of a function. I was contemplating between fixing it and returning it when I decided that for the attractiveness of the silhouette - fixing is worth it. The fabric is odd. It feels and sounds like a mattress protector. The belt it came with is a size smaller than the dress I ordered. I can squeeze it around my waist, but I can tell the purpose of the belt is to hold the dress together. That being said, I did wear it tonight. I slipped a short, 3/4 sleeve-length black cardi over it to hide the awkward buttons at the top. I put on some black wedges and pulled my hair into a low side pony with the ends curled. It was cute and I gathered some compliments, but I'm disappointed that I had to cover half of the dress in order to make it work. \n

\n As another reviewer said I can't decide if I want to keep this dress. I am really glad I didn't size down to an XS like it said to otherwise there is noway the buttons on the waist would fit right. This dress is extremely low cut and certainly shows a lot of cleavage which is one reason why I am not too certain if I want to keep this dress. The part of the strap that is adjustable is also not very supportive and the straps are extremely long. I made the straps as small as they can adjust and they still don't seem short enough they also don't seem to stay the length they are adjusted to. If I do keep this dress I will most likely sew the straps at a shorter length. The pockets also really really stick out which I can't decide if it makes me look too wide to be attractive my short height. I love the fabric so I'm going to have to try this dress on a few more times before I make my final decision. \n

\n I ordered this one a size too small, so I'll be ordering another- don't size down, especially if you have a large bust. The buttons have use and if you're too large you'll pop out. The straps are adjustable, the pattern is cute, the quality is meh for the price but the print makes it worth it. A really adorable dress, kind of short but perfect for me. \n

\n I really like this dress but I had to move the buttons to fit my top. I was a little disappointed that when I moved them there was a red dot showing where the button was almost like a stain on each one...but over all its very cute.\n
