\n It's true. It is shiny and the sleeves do have a bit of poof that the picture does not show. But, for me, these things were a pleasant surprise. I find it really flattering as well. \n

\n I love this dress, especially the sleeves and the neckline. The fabric is clingy, so it does show when I need to do sit-ups! However, the length (right above the knee) is extremely flattering on my figure. My only objection is a few stitches on the waist seam have already come out (or maybe were never there?) and I've only worn it once! It looks like it will be an easy repair, though.\n

\n This dress is possibly now my favorite hanging in my closet. I wore it to a management meeting with my staff and they all complimented the color, shape, and fit of the dress. \r\nI'm definitely going to be wearing it again soon. \n
\n This photo just does not do this beautiful dress justice! I was blown away by how amazingly flattering it was - it made my waist look absolutely tiny, took all the attention off my hips, and the slight puff of the sleeves was adorable. The color is lovely (a bit lighter than it appeared on my screen, and the fabric has a bit of a sheen), and the length is perfect, too - right above the knee.\r\n\r\nI ordered four different Modcloth dresses, and this was the unanimous favorite! Well worth the price (everyone has been surprised at the great pricetag). Thank you, Modcloth! :]\n
\n I am so sad to have to return this - it just didn't fit right. It was too tight on my ribcage and too big on my shoulders - seemed like it was made for a taller person. \n
\n I am in love with this dress. The fit is very flattering in the waist and bust area. The color is great. The fabric is light and has a bit of a sheen to it. On my 5'5" frame it comes to an inch or two above my knees, so I could wear it to work when it gets warmer. All in all a great purchase!\n
\n This dress is a really light, floaty material which I wasn't expecting, but it's so nice. I think I like it more because of this. The colour is gorgeous, very autumn-y. The tie back is adequate length. It is a little tight on my hips, therefore emphasising them so I will need to wear shapewear underneath.\n
\n I must have missed it in the reviews, but the fabric was not what I was expecting. I was thinking this would be a more casual dress, and because of the thinness and shiny nature of the fabric it did not work for what I had planned! Otherwise very cute, but I'm afraid this will have to be a return. Also, it fit tight around the torso though it was loose around the chest, so it was a little odd in that.\n
\n Well the sleeves are poofed, which is kind of odd and the material is really shiny.. and it's longer than I had expected. It's a pretty dress, but I dunno. Not quite like the picture and not what I was expecting. I am thinking about returning :(\n
