\n This is a beautiful dress, but unfortunately it's a bit too snug in the bust for me. I read that the waist might be tight, but I found that the waist was actually fine, even roomy, while the top just seemed to flatten me into a boxy shape that didn't flatter my hourglass shape the way I'd hoped it might (not as obvious from the front, but you can see what I might in the second photo). The other issue was length--at nearly 5'4 it was clear that I would have to get this dress altered to look "cute/fun" rather than overly conservative.\r\n\r\nAs I said, the dress is really lovely, and as you can see in many of the other reviews, very flattering on some body types. I didn't see any pictures with quite my figure, so I'll post a couple of photos for ladies around my same measurements. If I was five inches taller and two bra sizes smaller, I would certainly keep this dress, but for the price it kind of had to be a "perfect fit" or a return, so it will be going back.\n

\n I could write poetry about this dress. It is just beautiful! The advice to size up is also very apt - normally I can do a medium but I got this in a large and it was PERFECT. This dress can flatter so many figures. I feel like a goddess in it. I always get compliments, and it is so easy to throw on and go, or dress up for an occasion. The subtle hounds tooth pattern is also just darling. I cannot sing enough praises about this dress - the material is high quality, the cut is immaculate, the sleeves are adorable. Even though I'm only 5'5", I love the extra length of the dress. Well worth the price!!\n

\n This dress is fabulous! I was a bit hesitant at the beginning as the first review said it was a bit tight on the waist but I'm so glad I went for it. The colour is a lush green and the length is perfect tea length on my height. \r\n\r\nThe fit is very good on the bust (34B) and a bit tight just below the bust - I might undo the seams and sew it anew (you can get a tiny bit more ease). The dress has a retro feel to it and the neckline is absolutely darling! Overall, totally love this dress!!\n

\n This is my favorite dress ever. I absolutely LOVE it. Wore it for the second time to a wedding this weekend and received compliments all day long. One man even told me I looked like I stepped straight out of a catalogue! The quality is amazing and it is very flattering on an hourglass figure. The waist and bust are perfect for my measurements (usually I have a problem where either the bust is too tight or the waist is too big), the skirt is very full so you should definitely pick your size based on waist and bust.\n

\n I measure a 43 chest but wear a 38 D bra. Just want to say that first to help those who are around my size. The dress is the perfect length and the fabric is soft. I plan on wearing this for a Fall wedding but received in time for a wedding in late August as well. I bought a petticoat to go with it and it looks great but am opting out of wearing it for the August wedding (too hot) and it falls very nicely with out one as well! The cap sleeves are generous and if anything a little big but I like that. I don't like the restricted feeling some cap sleeves give me, since I have broader shoulders. The chest is also perfectly sized and can be worn with a regular bra for a more conservative look or a push up bra for more sexiness! \r\n\r\nThere are a few issues with the dress. There are folds across the chest that have to be pressed VERY well so they don't fall or pucker and I can see a possible issue with some people. Also the bottom seam of the waist line is tight and does make the hips look broader. I found however a good tummy cincher will make you look clean lined! The other issue I have is with the inside fabrics of the dress, left I assume for alterations if needed. The fabric underneath the bust can get bunched when putting on and if you don't reach under the dress and pull it down it can make one side of the bust look uneven. Again easy fix but for some people might be an issue if they don't check. \r\n\r\nAll in all a great dress! I can't wait to wear it! \n

\n This is about the most gorgeous dress ever. Do pay attention to the waist sizing (natural waist to be exact) because there isn't much give there. A petticoat would look stunning under this and a slip is a necessity if you are wearing tights as the material sticks to tights. That said, the color is fabulous, the cut is stunning, and the cleavage is tasteful (or, with a little fluffing, a bit more daring). This is going to be my Christmas dress for sure and I know I'm going to knock everyone over with my amazing taste.\n

\n OMG, darling! Great quality, fabric and construction. It looks great on and will be perfect for a holiday fancy open house party and New Year's Eve. \r\n\r\nTo be sure, there is *absolutely no give* in the waist. Measure carefully and be honest about the size you need. Measure at about the bottom of the ribcage where the dress is snuggest. The square cut of the neckline also means you need a bra with wide-set straps. You definitely show cleavage, but not distastefully so. Darling!\r\n \n

\n To be honest, I wasn't 100% taken with this dress when I saw it on the website I ordered it because I thought it might be a nice, understated option for a formal summer wedding. It is GORGEOUS on. Super flattering, lovely and high-quality material, and much more interesting than I initially gave it credit for! The medium fits me perfectly somehow, which is rare with my measurements, and there's no extra bunchy material anywhere. I am definitely wearing a (thin, underwire) bra with it to provide support, because while the bust does hold things in, it doesn't offer a ton in the way of lining or support. Still, a simple fix (and I expected to wear a bra anyway). I think it will be a perfectly elegant dress for the wedding, and I can't wait to find more opportunities to wear it!\n
