\n I really wish that the creators of this lamp had put a little more thought into its production! The idea is WAY cute, but, ultimately, the execution was poor. First of all, you can't even fit a bulb inside - the top row of birds is too close to the socket. So I moved the row. Once I put a bulb in and turned it on, I immediately realized that I would have to spend more money on it to get a small lamp shade to diffuse the direct light. Also, the cord is short and doesn't even have an on/off switch. I could spend even more money to rewire it, but I don't have that kind of padding in my wallet...\r\nUltimately, it was a return.\r\nBUT, if you are willing to spend extra to fix these issues, this is THE CUTEST lamp I have ever seen. It is a huge disappointment that it did not work out for me logistically...\n

The only problem I find with this lamp is that there is so much direct light, as there is nothing between you and the lightbulb itself...I'm thinking of a way to put something around it to mute the intensity a bit. Other than that, this lamp is completely darling and worth the money spent!\n
\n This lamp is adorable. It really adds character to a room and it's definitely a conversation piece. I love it. \r\n\r\nA few things: \r\n\r\nIt is a bit large. I think it's perfect but if you want something on the smaller size, this isn't it. \r\n\r\nAs another reviewer said, you do have to move the top bar to fit a normal-sized light bulb in. That's actually extremely easy--so don't be too worried about that. They just hook on and off with the greatest of ease. \r\n\r\nOther reviewers remarked about how the light is too bright and there is no shade from the bulb. I recommend otherwise an Edison bulb (which you don't cover anyways) or they make specialty bulbs that are covered at the bottom to diffuse light. Either of those would solve that problem. \r\n\r\nReviewers also warned that the cord was too short. I read the measurements and figured they were wrong but the cord is rather short if you plan to hang it. Also, as a reviewer mentioned, there is no on or off switch which would have been a nice bonus. \r\n\r\nOverall it's a great piece. I'd recommend buying it if you've been eyeing it for a while. \r\n\r\n\n
\n This lamp is too cute!!!! I'm in love. This is completely unique and one-of-a-kind!!!!!!! It's down-to-earth and ADORABLE!!!!! I have never seen anything like it before. It is rather bright since there is only direct light coming from the bulb, so that might be only gripe. I find it is more appealing in person. I would recommend this to anyone who is loves nature (and birds)!!!! A great lamp!!!!\n
\n I really like this lamp, it brings a certain character to my room which is otherwise hard to get. Although when I first got it one of the birds fell off of the main structure, I am still very happy with this product.\n
