\n I really love this bathing suit. It's really flattering and I think I'm going to be super comfortable at the beach this summer. I just wish I could exchange it for a smaller size, because it's just a little too big. My measurements are exactly in between a size 12 and a size 14 - so I talked to a modcloth stylist online and she told me to order a 14. It's a little big in the back and in the bust area. I'm afraid it's going to stretch out even more. Unfortunately I can't do an exchange because modcloth doesn't do international exchanges! I'm just hoping and praying it won't stretch out after I wear it or else It'll really be too big. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars - because I was told to get a size too big. :( Other than that, it's great quality, feels wonderful on, and I feel so much better in it than I have in other bathing suits. I would be completely comfortable with the 117 dollars I spent on it if it actually fit perfectly. \n

\n As you have found, Kaylee, shopping for a bathing suit online is not an exact science. Especially if you are an international customer! When your measurements put you between sizes, it is hard to know whether to go up or down. I would have given the same advice the ModStylists gave: size up. A bathing suit that is too small is not only uncomfortable, but often times, unwearable! In my experience with this suit, the fabric does not stretch out. I have worn it in pools, lakes, and rivers and it still fits the same as it did the day I got it :) \n

\n I ordered this suit in a size 14 2 years ago. At the time, I was a 12 in clothes. While many one-pieces feel matronly and make your body a blob, this one is SO flirty and fun! I can sit on the beach in a sea of triangle bikinis, each smaller than the last, and feel completely sassy and cute. \r\n\r\nAfter loosing 20 pounds I just ordered the two piece version in a smaller size, I am hoping to leave a positive review of it soon!\n

\n I was so hesitant to buy this because I am such a pear shape - I wear a small in shirts and a large in pants. The mod stylist recommended I go with a size 8, but I ended up going with a size 10 instead. I think this was the right choice - my only concern is that it may loosen in the bust once I get wet. After reading some reviews that said that the dye wasn't set properly I decided to soak mine in cold water with vinegar to set it properly. It didn't bleed at all. OMG! This looks so wonderful on. After going off one of my medications for ADHD i gained weight, and have not felt comfortable in a swimsuit since. This changes that completely. I am seriously In love - makes my love my curves instead of hate them. Looks wonderful.\r\n\r\nI used to love doing photoshoot of myself before I gained weight, but haven't felt confident enough to do so in about two years. As you can see by the artsy photographs - this suit made me feel great!\n

\n I was so very excited about this swimsuit. I debated ordering it for about 6 months due to bad reviews about fading. I decided to research swimsuit preservation tactics and order it anyway. It fits like a dream and covers everything I want to keep covered. My boyfriend told me I looked like Marilyn Monroe (Not a bad compliment, eh?) So I couldn't wait to wear it on our vacation to Florida. I took amazing care of this suit. I even bought special soap to take on the trip so I could wash it after every swim. It didn't help. One week on vacation and it's already considerably faded in the back. On the sides it has turned whitish grey in places as if due to deoderant.. but after washing it a few times nothing happened. I am almost embarrassed to wear it out now! Which is heart breaking because it's almost swimsuit season and I was really looking forward to wearing this to the beach. BE WARNED LADIES! It's adorable but will fade after 5+ wears. If you don't mind spending almost $20 a swim on a suit then go ahead. But if not, don't make my mistake and head the reviews. Having a faded suit is not fun, especially after dropping $90. :(\n

\n I have never had a bathing suit make me feel so sexy and feminine. I have always been very self conscious about my body but this makes me feel like a vintage bombshell. Let me tell you - if you have skin that isn't naturally perfect this true candy-red can make dull skin blaze! Fits like a dream and the fabric is of great quality; I was apprehensive about the price but I do not regret it. I have a small chest - between an A and B and the soft cups built into this suit gave great support. Best suit ever. \n

\n I absolutely ADORE this bathing suit!\r\nIt just came in the mail today, it was such a quick delivery!\r\nI normally wear about a size 4 in pants, and am a 32 B bra size, and with this bathing suit I got a size 8 and it is perfect.\r\nI found some old prom shoes and of course was sporting a modcloth vintage floral headband today, so I decided to take a photo for the website.\r\nThank you so much, Modcloth!!\r\n\n

\n I LOVED this suit when it arrived and could not wait to wear it\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6then I got to the beach and actually put it to use. After only a day or two my boyfriend pointed out that it was fading in places. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not sure if this was caused by sunscreen or the chlorine in the pool, but I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve never encountered this problem with other suits. It no longer looks anything like the bright, gorgeous red in the photo. I hand-washed it as instructed hoping the sunscreen might just wash out, but it became worse. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m afraid to say as lovely as these suits look initially they just aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t practical. As others have noted, the Esther Williams swimsuits run about two sizes smaller than typical dress sizes. I usually wear a 4 or 6 but ordered a size 10 in this suit. They do indeed fit like a dream. If not for the fading issue, I would have to refrain from ordering one in every color.\n

\n I must confess I doubted a lot before getting this. I even asked other ModCustomers in order to get real information about fading issues because I was not sure and as an overseas, I did not want to return this. Suddenly one day, it was on sale, and I thought it was time to dare with it and thank God I did.\r\nThis is everything you could ever want in a swimming suit in terms of quality plus it's sooooooooo cute and it will make you look thinner!!!\r\nFor those concerned about sizing: yes, it does run small. I'm normally an 8, and I went with a 12. It fits perfectly.\r\nFor those concerned about fading issues: 3 things you've got to follow religiously:\r\n1- first time before wearing it, wash it in cold water with vinegar, you'll help to set the colour.\r\n2- Use a delicate soap.\r\n3- Never ever wear it along with deodorant. I tried it on with some and it went dull in some areas. Don't worry, I washed it straight away and that cleared up the trouble.\r\nBy the way. If you already own another Esther piece, be warned that the Beach Blanket Bingos run a little tighter at the hips than plain colour ones just because the fabric is not exactly the same (bold ones are stretchier)\r\nFor the rest, this is perfection, and I never get so many compliments but wearing this.\n

\n I can't say enough good things about this bathing suit, it is a-ma-zing!! I was sort of nervous about the sizing chart, I usually wear a size 4/6, but based on all the other reviews I've read on here and other places, I opted for the 8 and it fits perfect, like it was made for me. Just follow the size chart and measurements for bust/waist/hips, but FYI: the waist is the most flexible of the three. The panel in the tummy is extremely flexible, it fits my 28 inch waist perfectly, but I'm sure it would fit a 27 to a 29.5 or 30 as well. Choose the size that most closely corresponds with the other two measurements and you'll be ready to hit the beach :)\n
