Even Cowgirls Get the Blues Bag

so i've been waiting for this bag to come back since way before the new website. i even begged modcloth to bring it back so i could buy it (and i'm a $10 thrift store bag kind of girl so $60 was a stretch for me, but i'm from texas and i just adored this bag). so first off, 5 stars to them for bringing it back so i could buy it! i was pretty sad when i received the bag though. it's very thin flimsy material (like that pleather type stuff), and the bag has NO shape of its own and does not hold it's form at all. it looks much lower quality than i anticipated, and is surprisingly much darker blue than this picture shows. for $60, i was truthfully expecting something much more high quality - i feel like it's more of a $15 bag. however cheap looking or no, i'm not returning it. i waited so long for it and finally gave in and i just adore the design and thought i won't be carrying it all the time as a daily purse, it will make the greatest travel purse for flying & car rides, trips to the beach etc- when you need more room than your normal purse can provide. i like it, but i just was hoping for a little more quality wise. i think if you adore the design like i do, and you keep in mind my review - you could like taking this little guy home too. If you don't love the bag already though, it may not be for you.

I love this bag. Like a reviewer said above, it definitely is darker in real life than in the pictures online, but the color is still really nice. I actually like the real color better. This bag is really big! I'm thinking of stuff I can buy just to fill it!! I'm really excited to have it. It's named after one of my favorite books of all time, so I had to have it. And I'm not really a purse person--much less a $60-purse person. One complaint, though, is that the straps look like they're starting to unravel a little bit where they connect to the ring (so the braiding is basically coming apart), but that shouldn't be too bad to fix. Overall, it's a great bag. Definitely a good buy.

I was sooo excited when I saw this bag and I bought it right away. So here goes.... Super honest statement #1: Aesthetically, this bag is perfect. Every bit, from the braided details to the beautiful color of the lining is so me. It goes with every single thing I have. Super honest statement #2: It fits everything. Need I say more? Super honest statement #3: The quality is not bad, but it leaves something to be desired. One of my straps started to unravel and the lining started shedding threads after only a month. This bag will not last you forever, like most vegan things (no offense ladies!!) but I'm still so happy I bought it, because I still say it's the most beautiful bag I have ever seen.
