Wear in the World Jacket
Finding yourself a little chilly in Berlin, you reach for your favorite jacket, the fantastic carmine red canvas one from Jack by BB Dakota. But, in its place is a flight itinerary to Ecuador. Following the mysterious trail, much like the biased front pockets trailed with an exposed zipper, you are led to an alpaca farm in the Andes where a rancher claims he saw a double breasted jacket en route to Tacoma, Washington. Your sleuthing continues through the Amazon and the Mojave to the cool Pacific Northwest where you yearn for the jacket's high collar that can be folded down like a lapel or drawn up and buckled snuggly. Among the evergreens you see a flitting, sleek red form. A photograph of you standing by your closet is all you can find. It's just a hunch, but you head back home and slide open the closet door. At last you've captured the elusive and stylish jacket and will never let it go. You pull its fitted shape around you, tie the self belt in a bow and are off to discover more exciting locales all over the world!

I was really excited to order this jacket (as my first Modcloth purchase!), since it looked so sleek and stylish. However, upon arrival, it sadly did not fit me very well. The length was shorter than I predicted (though I have a pretty long torso) and it was pretty tight in the shoulders (and I do not have particularly broad shoulders). I imagine it would be really cute on a shorter person, but on me it looked a little sloppy. The color was great and the quality so-so. Would be good for a breezy San Francisco day, but not good in any weather below 50 degrees. Will sadly be returning it and looking for another.
Great!! Fits perfect. I'm 5'1. Thank you all for the helpfull reviews. It's a really good summer coat.
This is my favorite thing I have purchased from ModCloth! Fits us short ones (5'3) great! Love it!
