The skirt is lovely but, as expected, it is a little big and will have to be taken in. Inverted Triangle. That's my body shape. I'm 5'3" with a short waist and my limbs look long so I look taller than I am. Dresses and skirts work better for me in petite but that's not offered so I usually aim for an XS. This item was bought in size Small. My waist measurement is 24" and my hips are 31". The fit would be true to a size small, I believe, but big on anyone without hips. The material is a polyester/acrylic/wool blend and definitely feels like a winter-worthy skirt. The faux front pockets are cute and the buttons (rounded black with silver trim) are nice details. I also like that it's lined so it won't be too itchy. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it was too big and I'll have to spend more to fix it.. Once it's altered, I'll definitely wear it.
This is a very well made skirt. The fabric is really nice and thick, all seams are well done and it is fully lined. ** It fit slightly larger than expected, but I realized after actually wearing it, it looks hot sitting on the hips with the drop waist. The quality and length of the skirt make it very office appropriate. I love this!
