While the fabric of this vest is as beautiful as it appears in the picture, I am sad to say that the measurements for it led me astray. Normally, items on ModCloth described with a 14.5 in. waist fit my 29 in. waist perfectly. That was not the case with this vest--it was much smaller than I imagined. My other qualm was that it arrived without the beautiful broach in the picture. I thought at first since it was detachable that it might be lurking elsewhere in the shipment, but it was not to be found. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a dressy, elegantly cut vest, this will do nicely. I would just encourage other buyers to size up.
