I'm 5'6, 145 lbs and as my measurements are 36-28-35, I generally wear smalls-mediums. I decided to order a medium for this hoodie, and I'm glad I did! I think the small would have been much too tight. The wrists are perfectly normal for me, but I agree that the bottom does hug at your body, which makes it look sleeker, so its a good thing. The pattern shown is the exact same as what I got. All in all, I got what I paid for, so I'm happy, but if you're debating on the size, I say go up rather than down.
I buy MOST of my clothes from ModCloth, so I feel I can give a fair review on size. The hoodie does fit tight in the wrist & at the bottom (in order to keep cold out), also a bit snug in the arm area...but it is loose everywhere else. I am 5'5"/107 lbs. & I find the SMALL size top to be quite big around the middle. The tightness around the wrist & bottom area are what keep the piece from looking *too* bulky. Fantastic matte, charcoal grey colour & an overall winner in my book.
The only complaint I would have about this hoodie is that it is a little tight in the wrists. Other than that it is wonderful! I wanted a hoodie that I could wear around but had a little more zip. Very cute.
