When I first saw this tunic in person I was disappointed because it seemed so huge (at 5'3" and 115 lbs, I usually have no problems with a size S/4, which is what I ordered). I then tried it on and tied the waist, and remembered why I loved it online. Excellent heavyweight woven material (the threads aren't printed so much as embroidered in, which looks great) -- there were a lot of loose threads but those were easy to snip off. I haven't rolled up the sleeves or side yet, but plan to. One note: I originally thought I could wear this with leggings at my height, but even on me it doesn't quite cover my tragically small butt, so I would definitely suggest wearing it with jeans. The top button can definitely be unbuttoned for a slightly less conservative look than pictured and it's really cute with boots, jeans, and a charm necklace (or a long vintage pocketwatch).
I'm 6 feet tall, average build, but the large is failry roomy on me, I probably could have ordered a medium... Lots of material to move around in. Not necessarily a bad thing in a tunic though. It's -40 degrees where I live right now, so I am happy the material is a bit heavier.
The fabric of this tunic is a lot heavier than it looks in the photos, which I was actually glad of. It's more of a woven texture and sits really well when you roll and pin it up with the buttons as pictured. It breaths really well and looks awesome over black leggings, a pencil skirt or skinny jeans.
