I ADORE this dress! The cut is beautiful and chic--it's the most unique LBD I've owned. It looks and feels expensive (worth the $90 in my opinion, and I don't usually spend that much on dresses). I expected the mesh overlay of the dress to be coarse-ish, because in the picture the bit that rises above the liner stands up on its own (therefore, I thought, it must be rigid). In actuality the whole dress feels silky, even the mesh bit. The only con is that the mesh bit that sticks above the liner sometimes flops down (since it's not sewn tot the main dress). I'm not sure if this can be amended by ironing or starching (I'm too afraid to tamper with it!), but probably I'll just leave it as it is since it doesn't bother me too terribly. As for the fit of the dress, it's absolutely perfect. The length is short without revealing too much thigh (I'm about 5'7''); I was afraid that the liner would be a bit see-through, as I am suspicious of lightly-colored materials, but it's not; most importantly, the cut of the dress is perfect for hiding a belly-pooch. And--for those who like this quality--you could probably get away without wearing a bra in this one, thanks to convenient pleating. I can't wait to wear this out to dinner or a play!

I also love, love, love this dress! I just got it today, and it's definitely as pictured. Like the previous reviewer, I find that the top of the dress where it goes above the liner has a tendency to fall down. Since the material is so soft, I'm not sure if ironing/starching will help, but possibly will try pinning it behind the scenes. The bubble hem also adds in curves to girls who have not been blessed with too many curves (like me!), so this is a nice bonus. The one thing is that the zipper tends to stick right at the waistband, near the belt loops, so just something to be careful with, as it could definitely break off with enough pressure.

I really really love this dress but unfortunately mine has a noticeable pucker right on the hip (its a huge bump at the bottom of the zipper). I'm hesitant to return it because I love the style, but I hate to spend $90 on a dress with a noticeable problem. One of the small stitches made to hold up the outer layer was broken as well. This can be easily fixed but on top of the pucker and the price I just don't think its worth it. I was hoping Aryn K might be able to replace it but it's a discontinued style. Oh well. On the bright side the material is nice, and ModCloth has free returns.
