Would you like to hear the long, crazy tale of my relationship with these shoes? Alright, let me start from the beginning. I ordered the blue style of these shoes in March of this year. I had immediately fallen in love (through the computer screen) and knew that I had to have these. I received them, wore them for a very short evening, and then headed out on a three week vacation with them in my suitcase. I live in Minnesota, and was traveling through cold country, so a week later in New Mexico I finally got a chance to wear them--but the moment I put them on, the elastic on the strap broke! Dejected and more than a little irritated, I whipped out my laptop to explain the situation to Modcloth & ask for a return shipping label and a replacement pair. The folks from Modcloth gave me a super quick reply and were helpful and understanding. When I returned home, I sent the shoes back, and waited. A few weeks later (they'd been backed up in returns) I received this yellow pair, which I had requested they send me if there were no more blue ones in my size. Modcloth, by the way, was absolutely wonderful about everything. I love these people. I even got a free pair of earrings in the package! I happily wore these for a few weeks or so before the strap again broke. But I'm a crafty gal and handy with a needle, and I had also seen that there were no more of these in my size, so I fixed them. They kept breaking. Both shoes, and at first just the straps. But soon, the rubber bottoms started peeling away from the heel, and then the inner sole from the heel, and no matter how many times I fix the straps, they keeping snapping! I constantly keep a needle and thread with me when I go out in these shoes. I've now owned them for two months, and have had to superglue and stitch like nobody's business. It makes me sad that such a great company would stock shoes of such poor quality. The only things that prevented me from rating these shoes with 1 star are the adorable style that caused me to fall in love in the first place, and the fact that these are the most comfortable heels I've worn. I feel like I deserve more for my hard-earned money than shoes I have to fix within one month of wearing them. This doesn't turn me off of the ModCloth company (their clothing and customer service is too good for that!), but I am certainly very suspicious of the shoes they're selling now, as this is my only experience ever purchasing from them. So, rad++ for customer service. Quality was quite a disappointment.

I purchased these shoes a couple months ago and left a review. they are beautiful shoes, but, now I find myself unable to wear them because the straps are too large for my feet and they continue to slip off. ive tried everything to make them tighter and nothing has worked... so I have these beautiful shoes... that I cant wear...
