Gorgeous shoes, except they look a lot more orange in person. I'm a 8.5/9 in shoe size, depending on the shoes, so I ordered an 8.5 and it's a little large for my foot, but it should be okay with thick socks or tights.

Like the other reviewer, I followed Modcloth's sizing recommendation and ordered a half-size down (from 7.5 to 7). The shoes were way too small! Modcloth's service is good (prompt delivery, etc), but I gave them a low rating here because of the misleading sizing. Otherwise, the shoes are cute. The material is a little stiff, which made it difficult to put on, but I think that was exacerbated by the small size. A little more orange than they look in this picture online, which makes them look more reddish. (I love orange, so that was fine with me!) Such a disappointment that these don't fit--guess they'll be going back.

I take a 9.5 and ordered a 9, on the strength of the Composition/Fit description. And I could get my foot into it! but only in the ugly stepsister sense; I wouldve had to cut off some toes if I wanted to wear it for any length of time. So I gave them to my sister, who takes a 9, and she is delighted. That aside, it is a gorgeous little shoe; it broke my heart a little to give it up.
