This coat is so cute! I'm always a small/medium and bought the medium and it fits well and leaves enough room underneath for layering. I'm not sure if I would say this is a 5 on a winter warmth scale, but it has kept me warm every time I've worn it. I'm a pilot so I travel A LOT and it has kept me warm in the south (FL), the west (CA), the east (VA) and the north (MA). But the ultimate test of this coat is to see if it keeps me warm for my layovers in London and Munich.. and if it's warm enough for a British and German winter, it will be my dream winter coat! Hope it will keep me toasty! But otherwise, this coat is great, isn't heavy and bulky, and goes with anything .. It even made my uniform fashionable which I didn't think would ever be possible!
