The Heart Coat in Ann
Dreams of this pretty toggle coat by indie designer Dainty June will go on when you close your eyes! Inspired by our favorite all-girl rock band and constructed out of a dark teal wool blend, this lovely piece features six sunshine yellow suede hearts fastened to the front with rocker-chic, sassy gold studs. Black velvet piping adds cozy polish to the skirt's zipper-and-toggle placket, as well as the edges of its Eton collar and welted pockets. Fully lined for maximum warmth, dreams of this coat won't sleep when it's cold outside - they will keep you toasty and trendy all winter. Simply layer this garment over a pair of sunshine yellow tights and a black mini dress, and you'll have an ensemble with heart enough to rock all winter long!

This jacket is very cute and has great detailing but the material used leaves something to be desired. With only a couple of wears the material on the sleeves and side of the coat started to fuzz up from friction. It is very very light weight, pretty much like a windbreaker. And literally feels like pajamas, which is nice and comfortable. I wear it often its the perfect coat to break a chill. I ordered a sz. 4 and was concerned about it being too big but it is just fine, a looser fit but does not look disproportionate and I am 5'4" 115lbs, 34-27-36. I have to say, I was very fortunate to get this at 1/3 the price and after feeling its weight and the material I questioned whether it was worth that much, but I like it and its the perfect weight for the weather we have been having! Color is true to the picture.
Finally, a fashionable coat that has enough room to layer sweaters underneath. Most of the coats here have little wiggle room, but this one has wide arms and flares out in a bell shape giving a bit more forgiveness for snuggling up in winter weather. While it's thin, I am happy to be able to wear multiple sweaters and layers underneath. If you're looking for a more snug fit, I'd recommend sizing down. The only downside is that the toggles are a bit too long for the coat so they keep popping open, I might have to cut down or replace with elastic. Love the design otherwise and got tons of compliments.
