I'm flummoxed by the cut of this jacket. The shoulders fit beautifully but the waist definitely ought to be pinched in. I find the lapels pooch out unflatteringly at the bust (and I'm only a 34B!), and the jacket is loose and formless at the waist. Also, the diamond cut somehow doesn't seem as distinctive in person as it does in the pictures. It's a shame, because it's such a witty, wonderfully conceived design but it just doesn't look good. It really doesn't. I try to take into consideration that people come in all different shapes and sizes, and can see how something bad on me could look gorgeous on another girl, but in this case I am utterly puzzled by how it's supposed to look.
