I love this jacket. First of all it is very well made. The lining is wonderful, the gathered collar is amazing, and the buttons are adorable. It is warm enough for winters in new englan, but not itchy or stuffy. I am acctually excited for it to get cold out. I am going to pair it with some floral print stocking, grey wedged ankle boots, and a black beret. Can't wait untill it gets under 50 degrees out!
This coat is lovely. I ordered a small based on the measurements given and yes it is a little roomy around the waist but I like that as it allows for wearing with thick jumpers in winter. it looks great, feels lovely on, nice and warm and the detail at the back of the coat is very flattering. No problems with the pockets sticking out or anything, they sit perfectly on the coat.
I have no complaints at all about this coat. I live in a place where it snows steadily from November until April, and this coat has kept me quite warm so far, even when it was below zero! I ordered a large, am 5'7 and about 140 pounds, have have plenty of room in the arms, and the length goes to about my knees. It's roomy enough for me to have a sweater on underneath, and not have it be tight or hard to move it. The lining is so smooth, and the outside tartan is not as pronounced as one might think, but I think it's perfect! The flaps don't stick up at all, and the pockets are nice and roomy. The collar doesn't stick up either, and the detailed buttons are so pretty. I have gotten tons of compliments on this coat, and I plan on wearing it all the time.
