I LOVE this coat. It is very beautiful and well made. The deails are so cute. It does run on the small side. I am 5'5", 125 lbs and a 32 B bra and usually wear a small on top. I ordered medium due to the other reviews and because I wanted to be able to layer under the coat. The medium is a perfect fit, I can wear a thin sweater underneath and it fits great.
This coat is super cute and considerably warm for its thickness. It is lined and the material is well-made. It will give you a really nice shape when you wear it and the buttons, color, and 3/4 length arms are all really great. It does, however, fit a little small in my opinion. I am 5'-7", 140, and consider myself to be on the thin side. This being said, the shoulder area is snug and the arms don't allow for much extra space at all. I ordered a medium and everything was perfect except for the small arm/shoulder area. It's not enough of a problem for me to exchange it for a large and I for sure love the coat and have worn it a bunch already. If it helps it is also something to consider that it seems the material can stretch out a little, so if it is snug in the beginning I would recommend wearing it around for a little while and trying to stretch out the arms a bit..there is a little extra room for a thin sweater underneath which you will definitely need if you plan on wearing it in 40 degree weather. Throw on a heavy scarf, super warm long gloves and a knitted hat and you'll be good to go for the winter. Hope this helps!
I love this and wish they had another one in teal, gray or brown so I could wear them on different days. It's warm if you wear a sweater under it. I get a lot of compliments. The buttons kept coming off, but once I sewed them all on myself they stayed. I found this to be true to size. I'm 5'7", 112 lbs and ordered a small and it fit perfectly.
