The coat arrived this week and is going back tomorrow. Beware! The flowers appear to be iron-on patches rather than embroidered flowers. It looks really cheap in person. My mom did a better job getting the patches on my brownie uniform than they did making this coat. Bummer.

This was my first Modcloth purchase. I thought this was just the cutest, most feminine coat I had seen all season, couldn't wait to get it! Unfortunately, I was disappointed by how thin the wool fabric is and the applique flowers look cheap (threads hanging off them, edges peeling away from wool). I kept it because it does look cute and I didn't want to be bothered sending it back and waiting for a refund. But I will think twice about ordering from Modcloth again.

This jacket is classically beautiful, the fabric is really very warm and made of good quality and even if you are shorter in stature and you don't have a long neck (like myself), that big collar frames your face and drops low enough to really give the illusion of length. I recommend getting a size bigger the what you typically wear.
