For size reference, I'm 5'9 1/2", 155lbs, I ordered a large. I absolutely LOVE this coat, but it seems to fit a little baggy in the waist and hip area. The front pockets kind of give it a weird shape but I think it will work for me. The medium size would have had sleeves that were too short for me. I would definitely recommend this coat, I got it yesterday and already got a compliment on it. It feels like a really thick hoodie, or a blanket, it's SO comfortable. And I think it will be really warm for winter, as long as I wear a sweater underneath. My favorite part is the collar, and that the front pockets have an extra open pocket behind the button-flap pockets, so you actually get 6 pockets!
When I saw this coat on the site I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it was way to big, I am 5'9 & 125 lb, and it was still huge on me and really baggy and unflattering. Also on the warmth rating it said it was a 4 out of 5 which means that it says it is warm enough for fall to winter weather, well I live in Toronto and I was freezing after about 5 minutes of wearing this outside during the fall. It is fully lined but the material they used to line it is not warm at all! The lining really doesn't make much difference at all. I was extremely disappointed with this coat especially since shipping it back cost so much from Canada. I just don't have enough money to ship stuff back every time so this may be the end of modcloth for me, at least for awhile.

YAYNESS!!!! im 5'3", 163 lbs and i was worried the medium would be tight, but it isnt, its a bit baggy around the midline but this is excellent for an extra sweater and - best of all - sitting down, when other coats go flumpy and weird. also the fact that it is a little big allows for easy use of the side pockets which would be hard to hide cold hands in if it were snug. i didnt have problems with the collar...it doesnt fold down, but u can button it down on one side which keeps it down, so....YAYNESS!!!! the one thing really is the shoulders, they are a bit tight, but as long as youre not going out to do jumping jacks in this coat, its cool...or shall i say...warm??
