I love this dress! It is super cute and comfortable! I am 5'1", 115 lbs, and have a a butt and hips. This dress (like most other shoppers have said) is pretty small on the bottom, but the fabric is thick and soft and hugs my curves beautifully. I was worried about it being too short too, and it does run on the shorter side, but with tights and boots it's not inappropriate at all. Its really cute, and since the top is a super soft, looser material, the tighter bottom is really attractive. I would definitely suggest this dress to anyone who likes to accentuate their lower half :) It's a good thing!! Great winter/fall dress!!! Thanks Modcloth!
As the other reviewers pointed out, the skirt on this dress is QUITE tight for girls with wider hips, but the material is nice and stretchy so the fit is not a problem. The fabric on the top part of this dress is really lovely and the pattern draws a lot of attention (so distinctive!). I'm on the tall side (5'10"), but this dress was not too short, and it looks fantastic with a pair of black or navy blue tights!
I ordered a medium because the reviews said the bottom was super tight, I'm normally a small. It is a really unique dress but buyer beware. The bottom part really does hug your curves so if you have a bit of a belly, any love handles or larger thighs this dress will only accentuate them more. I highly recommend a pair of spanx to go with them to smooth out your curves. I'm considering returning this item because I think I'll be a bit too self-concious in it, even with the spanx.
