Hillhouse Avenue Dress
As you stroll down the street that Charles Dickens proclaimed "the most beautiful in America," you think how glad you are to have worn its namesake dress! For only this frock can match the beauty and grandeur of the stunning, nineteenth-century architecture that surrounds you. Under the shade of the oak trees, you begin to hum "Bright College Years" to the beat of your swaying skirt. Proudly displaying Yale's signature blue and grey colors, a cascading ruffle that ties the dress' contrasting elements together, and a casual collegial fit with roomy open sleeves and elasticized waist, this dress delicately portrays your undergrad ambition! Returning to Old Campus to meet up with your study group, you consider trading in your classroom-appropriate Mary Janes and navy sweater tights for statement stilettos and a tiered silver necklace so that you might impress a certain college sweetheart!

This dress is just hideous in person. It is adorned with a sorry excuse for a ruffle. The bottom is made out of sweatshirt material paired with a linen/chambray top. WTF? Who would pair those two opposite fabrics together? Not cute at all. Very disappointed.
We're sorry you are unhappy with your dress! We'd love to help! I'm sending you an email with more information.
