I got so many compliments on this for a Christmas gathering I attended. I'm about 5'2, 138 pounds, and the medium fit me just perfect. Other dresses, I would have had to sacrifice some room in the bust (I'm 38B), but nope, not for this one. Fit my hour glass figure just right.
This dress is adorable, and I like it enough to keep it. I'm 5'6", 130 pounds, and almost always wear a medium. Naturally, I ordered a medium. Unfortunately, it must run a little big, because like Lisa, I think it could definately be more snug in the torso and it gapes under the arms. I've noticed from the three other dresses I've ordered from ModCloth that they ran big too, and probably should have learned my lesson, so I will blame myself. But I'd much rather have it run too big than too small! It is a very slimming dress, and looks super cute with the wine tasting tights in the picture that I also ordered. Also, the bow around the bottom of the dress is misleading in the picture, and is much more plum purple than brownish.
Just came in today, and is adorable. I'm 5'6" on a good day...5'5" every other day and it is the perfect length. It's definitely a shorter dress, but no where near too short. Its shape is very slimming too.
