The good: The print is lovely in person and the dress is absolutely darling, style-wise. The bad: I concur with Tykia – my dress also had several loose, hanging threads and poorly finished seams. Moreover, the fabric is so thin that you can see creases in the lining through the dress itself. The in-between: As for fit, I’ll either need to belt it (empire-style) or have it taken in for it to fit perfectly. As I anticipated when I purchased the item, the Small is slightly larger than your standard 2/4 dress size. The lowdown: Will I keep it? Yes, I will. I absolutely love the look of the dress and I’ve already swallowed the shipping and customs charges (I’m in Canada). But there’s no doubt about it, the construction of the dress is not in line with the price; I wouldn’t have paid more than $40.00 for this dress, had I seen its quality in person.
Very cute dress but poorly made. Loose strings were hanging from the bust panel when I received it. I lifted the panel only to discover several inconsistently large stitches that were loose to boot. Too bad; the print is so uniqe and the fit was tts.
This dress is super cute and fits pretty good. I didn't notice any loose strings or open seams as other reviewers have. My husband even loved it and said I had to keep it. I was already going to anyway because I love it. The only drawback is there are no pockets. All semi full dresses should have pockets people! Anyway, I put that it runs slightly larger than TTS because my measurements are actually bigger than the large states (mine are 19-40 bust, 32 waist) but I decided to try it anyway because I thought it was adorable online. I was very happy that it does indeed fit. It fits snug but I had no problem zipping it and it doesn't smash the girls or anything. If you are in love with this dress online I say try it and decide for yourself as they have a pretty easy return process. Just make sure you use UPS and not USPS if you use their return labels (speaking from another garment, not this one as it is staying in my closet). Anyway, hope that helps!
