It's very cute, but very short! Most short dresses work well as an above the knee dress for me, but this one requires leggings even for me. It's great as a tunic over pants though. For perspective, I'm 5ft tall and this dress is hitting way too close to the bum area!
This is very cute, and fits well overall. The problem is that as dresses go it's quite flimsy and it is RIDICULOUSLY short. And I'm very short anyway so a tall girl or even someone of normal stature would not be able to pull this off as a dress. It wouldn't even cover your nether regions. I've been wearing it more as a shirt, over leggings and it's adorable. It may also work as pajamas on summer nights.
My first Modcloth purchase!! This is a very cute dress, casual but the lacy back adds class. It is very soft and comfortable, I needed dresses like this for my acting class, so it's great to move around in. Pairs well with leggings or skinny jeans.
