I bought this dress in cranberry (the color of which is ravishing, it cannot be captured for the website, its so rich and beautiful!) and was worried that at 5'4" and about 145 lbs the medium would not fit well (large was not available) but it fit my hourglass shape perfectly! Showed the perfect amount of decollete without looking obscene and the length is just perfect! LOVE this dress!!!
Looks exactly like the picture! I'm 5'3 and have a very tiny build and the small fit excellent on me when the middle portion was tied! It looks a little bit more formal in real life, but that worked to my benefit...definately planning on keeping this one! It also shipped VERY vast! Only took 2 days and I payed fro regular shipping. :)
I bought this dress and the glimmering girl dress, while looking for a bridesmaid dress. This is the dress I'm going to keep. As with most Modcloth dresses, this runs a bit short in length. It is not a usually a problem for me, as I am 5'1", but I bought the large at the length is perfect. So if you are a taller girl, this might be problematic. My other worry was bust coverage, as I want to not look like a nun, but not like a tart either (I have a large chest so what is work appropriate for most people is obscene on me). But the dress has a flattering scoop neck, and covers everything that should be covered. It is feminine and the large fits me well. For future buyers, I am a petite woman with big hips and large boobs, I weigh 136lbs and this fit me perfectly. My only quam is that the belt tends to roll in on itself, but that can be easily altered.
