My parents were constantly bothering me about not having a nice black dress that I could wear to a function when one came up, so i hoped that this dress would fit my needs, and it did! The dress is pretty high cut and although its on the more conservative side, it still looks chic and cute! The bubble skirt is very flattering on anyone and the collar actually accentuates your collarbone, one of my favorite features. This dress looks adorable with a pair of tights and some flats or with a pair of heels. I highly recommend this dress to anyone!
I love this dress, it is really cute. I really think the sizing is a bit off, though. I ordered a 6 based on the measurements (I'm normally a 4 or so) and when I got it it was way too big. So measured how many inches could come in from the bust and waist and exchanged based on that - and I got a 2 which fits perfectly. So go figure. Fabric and workmanship look fine thus far. The dress is pretty short, but I like the juxtaposition of elegant dancy colors with a very feminine poufy shape. If it was pastels instead, you would look like a cream puff, but with the black and gold, it's interesting and flirty.
This dress was okay - I am 5'5 and about 145 pds and I felt it made me look shorter and a bit poofy. Definitely wear it with heels. The bust also poofed out a bit too much for my liking. I will wear this on occasion.
