Kennebunkport Dress
One day, I will own a yacht. And when that day comes, I will throw a party on the yacht so that I can rub my success in all my friends' faces. And to that party, I will wear this dotingly adorable dress. It will be the greatest party of everyone's lives. T-Pain will make a guest appearance, and we'll dine on a lavishly prepared buffet piled high with lobster rolls (caught fresh that morning, of course) and blueberry pie (homemade, obviously). Under the warm summer sun, we'll drift leisurely along the Maine coastline and my A-line skirt will dance ever so slightly in the breeze. I love the details of this navy cotton frock which include a full lining, flattering front pleats, a hidden back zipper, folded straps, and an ivory waistband to give definition to my midsection. Until my yachting days arrive, however, I'll wear this dress on the rare occasions I make it back home to New England, or more often when I try out new brunch places on the weekends. Paired with navy espadrilles and a nautical tote, I'll have a high-fashion style that's inching me closer to the high seas (at least, I like to think so). -Sarah, Fashion Writer

I normally fit into an 8/medium. I have a 36C bust. I ordered a large, and the zipper stops zipping (you guessed it) at the bustline. I find the fit issue disappointing since this is probably one of the best constructed dresses I have ever gotten from modcloth. The fabric has some nice weight to it without being too heavy. It is fully lined. It actually comes to slightly below my knee (I am 5'8"), and I often end up finding dresses are too short. The empire waist fits nicely. The shape is simple and adorable. The pleating is nice. The bust is just too small. And there is no larger size available.
I normally wear size 2-4 in dresses, and ordered small based on measurements given. However, this dress runs small, especially on the bust size. I can't even zip the dress above the waist. I have to exchange to Medium. It looks good in person, very flattering on my figure, but watchout for the zipper. It tends to stuck in the transition between blue fabric and the cream band on the waist.
I just got this in the mail yesterday and I had ordered a medium. The dress it self was exactly what I wanted, but it was just a little too small when it got to the bust. I wish I wish I wish that they still had the large in stock as I would buy it in a heartbeat, but alas, I have to return the medium and order a different dress for the wedding that I'm attending in two weeks.
