This dress is beautiful in theory, but upon receiving it, I soon discovered that the upper half fits incredibly poorly, and threatens to expose the wearer at any moment. It's a lovely dress; I wish only that it fit better.
I agree that this dress is beautiful in theory but when it arrived I was disappointed that the fit was not great. It was a little disproportionate between the top and bottom of the dress. Also, one side of the top was looser that the other. It really is a truly beautiful dress but the fit just isn't there.
The dress is beautifully made and the material is great. The previous reviewers are right however in that the top part is slightly on the drapey side. Its the kind of dress that you cant wear a bra with but its also the kind of dress you need support in. I wouldn't recommend getting a smaller size because the waist down, the size is perfect, its just the toppish part that could get loose. The problem, however, is easily fixed by a tailor and I still think its worth the buy. This dress is made of good material and the design is unique.
