I bought this dress last year, when it was available in grey. It's now one of my favorite dresses. Ideal for the winter, you can pair it with a leggin and a long-sleeved t-shirt. However, it's quite short, and you definitely won't be able to wear it without leggins or tights... Although the fabric is stretchy, it has kept its shape very well, no matter how many times I've washed it. Two thumbs up!
I just got this dress in the mail yesterday and I love it! It is perfect for winter layering and the purple color is beautiful. I am short (5'2) and it hits me about 2 inches above the knee, so for taller girls this will definitely be short. The material is a bit coarser than the picture led me to believe, but I haven't yet had a problem with any static cling and it falls really nicely.
Beautiful dress. I agree with the previous reviewer that the material is rather course. As far as the length, I am 5'9 and I will definitely be wearing the dress with leggings or tights. But the length should not dissuade you from getting this dress. Note that it is pretty stretchy. I bought a medium, but could also have bought a small.
