The dress is gorgeous! It is a little darker than the picture but it is a beautiful blue. There is a lot of glitter but it doesn't look over the top and it doesn't flake off. It fits snugly and comfortably. I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs and pear shaped. The medium fits me perfectly. Mine did come with a very small glob of goo (gum, maybe?) on the skirt but it came off very easily and didn't leave a mark.
Looks exactly like the picture. The zoom in picture shows the amount of glitter pretty accurately in my opinion. Absolutely love it!
I found this dress was true to size. If you go too small, you'll have a hard time getting it on as the concealed zip does not go all the way up the side. It is a beautiful dress, really lovely! I am not a large-chested woman at all and found it to be flattering in that area. I agree it has more glitter than you'll see in the picture, I didn't really need it to be glittery (what would I have expected from a "fairy godmother" dress though I wonder?) but it wasn't too intrusive to the look of the dress. Other than the glitter, the pictures here demonstrate the color and shape really well. I'll be wearing it to a winter wedding next month and the people I've shown it to absolutely adore it!
