Fit of this dress is a bit small, but the large did fit me, just quite snugly around my thighs. A couple of issues with the dress however. #1) It turned my skin and everything it touched blue. Of course, I wore it before I washed it, as I usually do, so I'm sure that was part of the problem. #2) The bottom half of the dress, where the pockets are, was sewn on crookedly! I have one pocket almost on my bum and the other on my leg. It is especially obvious because the zipper goes sideways down my back. Sadly I threw it on and shifted the dress assuming it was just twisted, then wore it out. At least 4 different people pointed it out to me. Frustrating, to say the least.

This dress is so beautiful. I'm a little thick around the middle and this dress is extremely flattering on me. It fits like a sexy glove in all the right places. The shoulder line is really fun, and while I really really wish the pockets were real and not just an illusion, they do add just the right interest to the bottom half. My big complaint, and the reason that I couldn't give this 5 stars, is that the very first time I washed it the studs started falling off. I lost one down the drain, but was able to save the rest and super-glue them back on. Still, now I'm terrified to lose more when I'm out. Also, even after soaking and hand-washing, blue dye still comes off a little from this so I'm going to be sure to wear it with black or blue undies and never with a light colored coat! But it's pretty special and if I don't lose any more studs it will certainly be worth all the trouble it's already caused me!
First of all, I didn't order this dress; it came in place of one of the dresses I DID order. But what a pleasant mistake! The material is not too thick, nor is it overwhelmingly "denim" (I know that's just a personal preference of mine--usually disliking denim on anything but jeans--but I thought it might be helpful to know). The neckline is lovely. I actually found the fit to be true to size, and didn't have the same problems another reviewer had (especially the pockets--they were sewn where they're supposed to be). It loses a star only because the top is ever slightly too loose and needs to be readjusted occasionally. Overall, a great dress.
