I was so ecstatic to recieve my dress in the mail. This was my first time to buy a dress online and I am so glad I chose ModCloth. I had inquired about the dress prior to my purchase and was very impressed with the speed and up frontness concerning several features about the dress not listed. It is a very low cut dress and if you are conservative, like me, you will want to wear a cami under it. It looks great with it underneath and adds additional modesty to the dress. The fabric is of wonderful quality and it is weighted enough to lay flat and even wear the material overlaps. The size is true to size. I took out every dress I own and measured each to make sure it would be an exact fit. Here are my proportions. 34B-36B bra, I'm a half size, and a 29 inch waste. The sleeve's underarm is 9 1/2 inches and opening at wrist 5 inches laying flat. I bought the Medium and it fit perfect and was very flattering. I absolutely love the dress. It is a little lighter navy blue than the picture posted, but a very rich and lovely tone. I am definatley going to buy more dresses in the future here. THANKS MODCLOTH!
This dress is gorgeous. It's made of very good material so the price is justified. I would say that the color in real life is slightly darker than it appears in the picture but it's beautiful none the less. Unfortunately the dress came late so I couldn't wear it for my birthday but I'm looking forward to the next time I have a place to wear it. It is a true wrap dress for anyone who might have been wondering. I typically wear a Size 8 and I bought this in a large and it fits exactly right.
I bought this dress a while ago, but it disappeared off the site before I could write a review. This dress is GORGEOUS! The color is this rich, shimmery navy. The fabric has a nice weight and substance to it. At first, I thought it would be a thinner, flimsier silk material, but it's not. It's perfect for late autumn and early winter, particularly all those holiday parties, whether at work or at the clubs. The convertable sleeves are my favorite feature. It's such a beautiful, classy dress, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I wore it on Thanksgiving Eve and got lots of compliments! One word of advisory to future buyers of this dress: it's dry-clean only. I needed to have it professionally pressed before I could wear it, just to get all the wrinkles out. It's worth the extra care, though.
