This dress is so adorable. Overall I love this dress. Pros: VERY flattering to my waist which I usually like to highlight. A Perfect length and the cut of the skirt is really pretty. The design is so perfect. Despite it not fitting me quite right I still plan on wearing this dress whenever possible. (as soon as I can find a decent slip since the linen is a tad transparent) Cons: I am usually an XS or a S and I opted for a S in this dress (despite the warning of no stretch and that it runs small) since I always regret buying a size up in dresses because they are always so big on me. The top of this dress is VERY NARROW. I can't button it. The sleeves are not cut very flatteringly in the back for someone who has slightly thick arms. The hole for your arms sort of cuts into the back of the dress. I didn't return it to exchange for a larger size since they were sold out and I can still wear the dress if I keep the top totally unbottoned and don't plan on raising my arms very often. I should have gone for the larger size so it's mostly my fault! Over all I love the dress. despite the slightly ill fit It looks REALLY great on. You need a size larger than you think you do.
I love this dress! The skirt is full and swingy, which makes it perfect for dancing. It fits me perfectly - as the description says, the dress runs small, which is just right for my tiny, skinny frame.
This is the most flattering, slimming dress I own! I am average to slightly above average in terms of weight but in this dress I swear I drop 10 pounds. I don't think I've ever worn it without being complimented! The high waist with a sash (if you know how to tie a proper bow) is just charming. The length is just about perfect-- it shows enough leg to be cute and dainty, but is overall quite modest to the point where I would feel comfortable wearing this dress student teaching (and you better believe that I will next semester!) This dresses versatility is furthered by its material-- LINEN! Who doesn't love linen dresses? The material works in both situations in which I need to be casual or slightly dolled up. Because of its lovely balance of comfort and aesthetic appeal, I feel good going out to dinner, going to the park, to the movies, on a date, with my friends, or even just lounging around the house in this dress. And because it is a simple and elegant black, it goes well with just about any accessory ever. If I could have a dozen more dresses cut similarly to this, you'd bet that I would!
