I had really high expectations for this dress. I had bought it to wear to my school's "prom," and was really excited when it arrived. It looked great on, so I was naturally happy. However, when prom night rolled around, the dress definitely did not hold up. I expected it to wrinkle a little during the dance because of the fabric, but nowhere NEAR as much as it did. After an hour of wearing the dress around a friends house (mostly standing, not sitting etc.) it looked like I'd slept in it...The wrinkles were everywhere. I ironed it, but five minutes later the wrinkles were back, so I just gave up. Additionally, the fabric really stretched out during the night. The fabric covered up my bra when I first tried it on but by the end of dance it had sagged and was showing 3/4 of my bra. It was super weird. Additionally, one of the buttons on the neck fell off the next morning and after its first wash the color was significantly lighter, even though all the washing directions were followed. To sum it all up: The fabric wrinkled much too easily, stretched out one size after one full wear, and was poorly made. (i.e. the buttons fell off etc.) It's too bad, because this dress is ADORABLE. If it had been cheaper, I probably wouldn't be as disappointed. Maybe I'm the only one that's had a bad experience with this dress, though. I've been known to be cursed with bad luck. :)

This dress has held up well for me, although I can see the previous reviewer's point: the fabric is rather cheap, and I was disappointed to see it was made in China (I try to avoid buying products from China if at all possible). You do need to be careful when washing it. The picture doesn't quite show off how wrinkled it really gets. That being said, I think it's a great dress. It looks completely adorable, romantic and dramatic all at the same time. It is perfect for girls like me who have long legs and a little torso. I definitely feel like a starlet in it! I can't wait to have an occasion to wear it again, maybe when I'm out this week for Restaurant Week! I just might adjust the price accordingly---this is more of a $50 dress, not a $75 one.
