The minute I saw this dress by Kensie Girl, it struck me with an intense thunderclap of attraction. Its dark and stormy good looks and figure hugging shape had me intrigued without even saying "hello." I eyed the dress over for further examination. A doppler swirl of midnight black, rain greys and cloud taupe made a topographic map of this silky, flirty, cap sleeved A-line, and a single-fold rolled collar, matching belt, and sexy exposed back zipper added the perfect touch of rebelliousness. I began to imagine where this dress and I might go - a romantic dinner date with a pair of patent leather heels, a glamorous cocktail party with dangling earrings, or even a night at the theater with a retro shoulder bag. I totally agree with kate: the dress is wonderful. And like Kate, the only thing is the belt: no holes, and the strings that hold the belt in place are really thin. The first thing that will break/come loose,it probably will be those strings. Besides the strings/belt: I really LOVE this dress.
This dress looks SOOOOO fabulous and I love the silky feel of the fabric! It makes me feel a little like dancing, a little like something more. ;-) Right now I'm wearing it with ModCloth's Osprey Headband. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the belt buckle doesn't have a prong, and no holes in the belt - so with this super sleek material, the belt loosens up really quickly (a safety pin fixes this). But other than that, I love, love, LOVE this dress. And for other hourglass and pear figures out there: this dress is super flattering, with plenty of room for hips!
