I simply cannot erase the image of you in that beautiful black dress from my mind's eye - and I hardly want to! The way your delicate decolletage peeked through the sheer, embroidered lace yoke while the organza cap sleeves and collar lent an air of elegance and sophistication was divine. The sweetheart bodice, peplum waist, hidden back zip, and midnight black lace-covered ochre satin skirt cut such a devastatingly sultry silhouette, I simply could not take my eyes off you. I can only ask that you don that fantasy of a frock again, in just the same fashion - with dark stockings, vixenish heels, and oh, those lace gloves. You, my sweet, are a vision of style and loveliness, always and forever.

Like the previous reviewer said, this dress is stunning! The fabric is a lacy fabric is a bit stiffer and thicker than I anticipated, but apart from that its exactly as I imagined. Unfortunately, I got a small and it is quite small. I am usually small on most modcloth dresses, and while I can do this one up, its VERY tight. I want to exchange it for a medium but unfortunately the dress is sold out so I'm not sure what I am going to do - I don't think its wearable, but its just so gorgeous!

So it took awhile to finally buy something from this amazing store, and this dress is my first ModCloth item and i Love it! BUT the top is just a BIT baggy from the sides, though it's nothing a good tailor can't fix. I had bought a medium because i knew the small would'nt fit my rump so i knew the top would fit a little wierd, other than that the dress is spectacular. The material on the dress is perfect and the color is EXTREMELY black. The back of the dress is suuuper dreamy, and the skirt is very soft and super shiny underneath the intricate lace, it looks like sheer gold from a distance and striking against the black. The picture on this sight does not do justice to the dress in real life. I HIGHLY recomend it.
