This dress is great! I purchased a small which fits me perfectly. I'm 5'5, 130 lbs, 34b and a classic pear shape. This dress fits perfect on top and hides my hips and butt. Although there is a lot of fabric on the bottom, I don't feel that it makes me look pregnant. The only downside is, the stitching where the sheer fabric is pinched, has come undone on one side. So one less star for having to make repairs before I've even worn it out.
What a lovely dress... when it's not on my body. I ordered a medium (I'm 5'7, 135lb... ok, ok, I lie, 140lb, 34C) but it was a bit tight in the bust area. I feel as though I'm spilling out of the thing. Also, with the way the sleeves are cut it makes my arms look gigantic (which they aren't). I usually don't mind an empire waist because I have a short torso and full hips but the waist line cuts across my bust rather than under it, which is awkward. I can understand how one may feel pregnant in this dress. The cut of the skirt does remind me of the baby doll dresses I used to wear in the 90s before I had boobs. Not sure if I want to return it yet, I'm waiting on BFF approval (pfft, girls). Maybe I'll save it for when (if) I get pregnant.
I got a small and I didnt even need to unzip the dress to put it on...I'm 5'2 and 110 lb and I have pretty small waist. The top was super cute and fit when I tied it really tightly but it made the back scrunch up and the dress part was longer than I had expected it to be and it was very poofy and almost made me look pregnant...The dress is super cute, I guess it's just not for me. I think I will be returning it soon if I can't tailor it somehow to fit me.
