I snapped this dress up in an XL and am I ever glad I did! It fits very well. I have a large bust - 34DD, I'm 5'7 and muscular/big boned - about 165-170 lbs, and this dress fits perfectly on top with room for hips at the bottom. My hips are boxy and not very wide, but if I had a pear shape I'd still be comfortable in this dress. Its cut is feminine and dramatic with the black/white/red pattern and a boatneck cut at the neck. The neckline is actually made to fold over, which was a bit confusing at first, but it adds even more distinctiveness to the dress. Paired with some flirty sandals, it'll be perfect for summer parties!
This dress is just perfect, I was so happy to see it was back in stock so I could plan my very first ModCloth purchase around it! I usually have a really hard time finding dresses that look flattering on me, but this looks completely perfect on me and makes me feel all pretty and stylish! I have sort of an abundant figure at 170 cm (which converts to about 5'6'', I think) and 80 kg (175 lbs), with a very pronounced hourglass form: big boobs, very small waist, and really, really Italian hips :) So, usually I need A-line bottoms and, especially, V-cut tops. But this dress (in size L) fits me like a glove and flatters my figure in all the right ways. Plus, the fabric seems perfect for both summer and winter (if combined with warm pieces). I never thought I'd find a pretty, flattering, non-boring dress in my lifetime. Ordering online is risky, and I never expected it to fit this well. I'm really happy with my purchase! Thanks, ModCloth!
