This is now my favorite dress. I love how it fits my body, I am a bit curvy and it hits my waist right in the smallest part and the pleating at the top of the skirt portion keeps the fabric flat so it doesn't make my stomach look round. The material is pretty thin but all I had to do was pair it with leggings, boots, and a cute cardigan and I am all set to wear it in the cool weather. I recently wore this with ModCloth's My Pet Octopus Necklace to a Regina Spektor concert and felt fantastic!
This dress looks the same as the photo when you get it, but after I tried it on I was really disappointed. The top portion was way too short, and the skirt portion flared out in a very unflattering way. The side view made me look like I had an extremely big waist and I'm only about 115 lbs. I wish it had fit better because I totally fell in love with it online!
This pretty thang arrived today but alas, it's waaay too thin for fall despite the wintery color scheme. Very soft but felt more like a nightie than a dress. Too bad, but it will be my only return. :)
