I ordered this dress last week in a size medium, and it was just as beautiful as it looks on the site! The color is even more vivid in person. However, the medium was way too tight on me! I am about 5'5 and 135 pounds, and I have the basic hourglass shape, with slightly slimmer hips, and a full chest. I managed to get the dress to zip up, but my breasts were completely squished and not fitting! I could tell still that the rest of the dress had a very flattering shape, so I ordered a large instead. Hopefully it works! It is perfect for the holidays!
Some of the reviews as to what size fits who is slightly confusing here, I think that all depends on the person and not your height or even weight since we all have different shapes and bodies. This dress fits me perfectly and it's a size small, and I am 5'2 and weigh about 117 to 120lb, and I have an hourglass shape. The color is not as light of a blue in person as it is in the photo, which didn't upset me, it's beautiful both ways, but it did shock me at first. You should know that it's a much darker blue, but oh so beautiful! I saw it on here and was hooked, and HAD to get it! It was on my list, and as soon as the chance came I grabbed it. Honestly you just have to know your own personal size to judge what fits you, it all depends also on brands and how people make their clothes, it's all different, just as we are all different. But I HIGHLY recommend this dress! It comes just right above the knees for me, if you're wondering for modesty purposes.
The colour of this dress is as vibrant and nice as the picture on Modcloth shows. It fits true to size, and I'm extremely happy with this purchase! My only complaint would be that the bow that ties the dress is very thin, and cheap looking - but it doesn't detract from the overall look of the piece.
