Dress Imitates Art
With a name inspired by the famous Oscar Wilde aphorism, this fully lined, strapless mini dress has a lot to live up to - and it does so with flying colors! We realize the importance of a sleek silhouette, which is why this adorable frock's allover stretch composition and empire waist earnestly culminate to fabulously flatter your figure. Your charming style will radiate its true portrait potential with the fresh mint green, glistening gold, and black abstract splatters upon a pristine, off-white background, while the deep V-neck of the sweetheart neckline features boning for structure and is elasticated in the back for comfort. To look like a modern Mona Lisa, slip this back-zip dress on with soft knit tights, suede booties, a cashmere cardi, and your favorite knit beanie for an enchanting ensemble!

Just received this dress yesterday and I love the sweetheart neckline. I am a size 6 but have wide shoulders and this dress is very flattering (doesn't cut off my lats!). It is fully lined and the bodice has a solid structure to it. No padding so be prepared! The coloring is gorgeous and the description doesn't do it justice. Looks good on the website but much prettier in person.
It's a unique short little tube dress - I don't know why I didn't realise how deep the sweetheart neckline was in the middle - it's not a big deal, except I think it accentuates my cleavage a bit too much (therefore limiting where and when to wear it) and also emphasizes how the bodice flaps a bit in the wind because it's so upright (I don't know how else to describe it!). I'm fairly top heavy and I agree that this cut would probably be very unflattering to someone who is less endowed on top. It's true that it is much prettier in person, but it may not suit leaner body types, just so you know!
Worked really well on my body until we got to the waist. I'm.. well, I look a bit like Joan on Mad Men from the neck down. The pleating was not flattering, and it was too much chest and leg for my taste. Really cute, just wish it were four inches longer and no pleating...
