Love this dress in concept, but not as much in reality. The construction of this dress is very good, however it is made of a simple stiff woven cotton, which makes look like it should cost less. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs and the dress fit perfectly, but the length was unflattering to my height and I looked a little lost in the puffiness of the dress. I think it's also important to note that there is an accordion pleat that is separate from and attached on top of the bust. This makes the bust area look very flat and square.

Very awkward fit. I lost all my curves to the strange puffiness of the dress. Tried to fix it, but it was just a big mess. I was really sad because I was really looking forward to this dress!!!

I found this website and have been smitten with almost everything here, but had one problem: I thought I was too big for most of the clothes! I had a hard time trying to measure my clothing, because I really didn't have anything form-fitting that was without stretch to compare it to. I finally found ONE dress to measure and took a chance. This dress was pretty close to my measurements and I was thrilled to discover that it fit! (actually, a smidgen big but hey, room to eat during the event now) As in the previous review, I also agree the the fabric is a bit common for the higher than usual price tag, but the dress truly is awesome. Here's something I didn't know: it has pockets!! How adorable. Anyway, despite the casual fabric, you still can dress it up with sparkly jewelry and patent leather shoes, which I plan to do for a christmas party. I like the modesty of the bustline...the overlay really prevents too much cleavage and the straps are adjustable so it permits a bit of leeway there. Now if only my favorite coats came in a bigger size....
