Donna Darko Dress
If time travel were a possibility, where would you go? Would you venture to the 1960's, the period that made the shift style cut of this dress popular? Or, if trekking back that far seems daunting, then perhaps try the 1980's, the decade that inspired the puffed sleeves, V-backline, and subtly padded shoulders. All of these dimension-leaping traits align together in one little black dress with a floral patterned lace overlay and satiny lining to a create a look so beautiful that it bends reality. You'll appear an absolute vision of vogue wherever - and whenever - you slip on this mystifying frock. Pair with bright stockings, shiny heels, and a feathered fascinator for a dinner date with destiny!

I was so pleased to finally get this dress in the mail! It is sooo cute and very flattering. I'm usually a medium but according to most of the reviews on other modcloth dresses, I heard that the dresses run a little small, so the Large fit perfectly. I will be wearing it as the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding. My only criticism is that the top of the sleeves sit sort of weird, I'll have to play with them, maybe make a few stitches so that they look like the same way the dress was photographed.
