These shoes are so beautiful. The workmanship and detail is really impressive: even the tongue of the shoe is detailed with impression-designs. They seem to fit true to size as well: I ordered an 8.5, my usual size, and they fit very well. I've found that there's just enough give to wear these with socks or thick tights or without, as well. And they go with everything! Pants, skirts, dresses all seem to look perfect with these. I've never been so excited about a single pair of shoes before, but I can see myself wearing these every day. Only negative is they feel a little hard in the sole after you wear them for a few hours, but I expect that will go away once they're more broken in.
First off, my en-shoesiam could never be curbed, however, these came pretty close to making my day! These are great, fit well and are a very good representation of the trend. Couldn't be happier. Modcloth never disappoints.
these shoes just arrived yesterday, and when I opened the box I said "wow" in a very christopher walken-esque voice... that's how cool these are! they turned me into the uber cool mr. walken for a brief moment! seriously can't wait to take a few hours pairing these up with various combos from my closet. my only complaint is that as of yet I am only able to see them with my work uniform, but that all changes as soon as I get home tonight...
