I don't know if I would necessarily call it corduroy but it's thick & warm & perfect for winter. I ordered it on sale which is always amazing too. I'm 5'7" and about 130lbs and the small fit me fine. It's a bit short, but with opaque black tights it's still fine for work. I love the pockets too but I feel like the more I put my hands in them, the more distorted the dress will begin to look.
Unfortunately i assumed that since the hip measurement wasn't on this that it was an a-line cut but it clearly isnt. This fits poorly, large in the waist and top and barely can fit over my hips. Loved the look of it but unfortunately this is not returnable.. threw out money on this one.
You all are sleeping on this one! Its very unassuming online but this fit like a dream and the tactile feel of the fabric is wonderful! This is a great canvas for styling how you'd like. It is adorable on--accentuates a small waist beautifully and hangs over my derriere just the way I like (its ample and so I often have the Cheerleader-skirt effect going on--long in the front, hiked-up in the back...). One of my favorite MC purchases yet! One note--I didn't find it to run very big at all. I'd say true to size.
