The waist of this skirt has about 7 inches of stretch.
This is a very adorable skirt and a great length. Just a note though, the material is kind of bunchy underneath the waistband especially. It's not a smooth, seamless A-line at all, but almost like the different patterns were sewn together in little squares or something. It's still super cute though, if you're okay with the flow.
I just received this skirt not two hours ago, and already I am moved to write a review of it. It's just too awesome. The navy-white combo means the styling options are endless; I love the way it looks with bright pinks and greens! The elastic band at the top of the skirt is a bit stiff, so the skirt fits best nearer the natural waist. Fortunately, it's the Perfect Length and wearing it there doesn't make the skirt tuggably short. As far as size, don't depend on the waist's stretch to fit this skirt or you'll wind up uncomfortable. I'm 5'4" with a 26" waist and the small fits like a charm. Finally, this adorable baby is even lined. YES! Super cute. A winner. Am I being clear?
